
Jeffrey M. Guiel was born in Holyoke, MA, and graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 1984 as Class Valedictorian before attending Amherst College from 1984 to 1988.
Upon completing his studies at Amherst College, Jeffrey attended Western New England College–School of Law. He graduated from law school in 1991 and passed the Massachusetts Bar Exam that same year.
During law school, Jeffrey interned at a local civil litigation firm in Chicopee and also participated in the criminal court internship program with District Attorney William Bennett.
Jeffrey then joined the law firm of Labrie and Pouliot in Chicopee, MA in October of 1992.
He spent more than three decades at Labrie and Pouliot in the general practice of law, specializing in numerous areas of law, including, but not limited to, personal injury, criminal defense, divorce, civil litigation, real estate, estate planning, business law and landlord-tenant.
In 2013, Jeffrey also became a licensed and certified Divorce and Family Law Mediator.
In addition to all of his legal duties at Labrie and Pouliot, Jeffrey also coached high school varsity basketball at South Hadley High School for sixteen (16) seasons, and also coached high school varsity golf for three (3) seasons.
For five (5) straight years, Jeffrey also volunteered and served as Mock Trial Judge at South Hadley High School during the school’s annual forensic criminal trial event.
Jeffrey is civic–minded and committed to charitable causes and organizations. He has volunteered on numerous boards, including The Greater Holyoke YMCA and he also served as the President of the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Chicopee.
In July of 2023, Jeffrey joined The Law Offices of David Brunelle, P.C to embark on the next chapter of his law career, where he continues to specialize in the areas of practice set forth below…
